Well, first I think I'd stare, which is rude but I think I would. But then I would ask to go to the bathroom really badly and hopefully they will let me. So I would pretend to go to the bathroom but in reality I'm going to the front desk to request someone else. I'd say something like I'm very uncomfortable blah, blah, blah. I would pray that I'd get a new doctor. I just don't think tattoos or piercings are very appropriate for a job that well. They get paid really well but doesn't mean you don't look somewhat good and normal when you go to work. That's how I would react.
I agree with you because its rude to judge people by what they look like or their piercings.
I would not care. I don't care what the doctor I get as long as they have gone through at least 4 years of medical school. I would be a bit frightened at first but in the end I don't care, but my mom might though... I honestly would never want to punch a hole in my face, but if other people want too they can. All doctors are good doctors to me. They've all gone to medical school and might have multiple degrees so I would let them do their job. I might even suggest that doctor to other people. I don't judge.
I agree but if you could tell the doctor didn't what she was doing I would more than likely see if my mom could reschedule the appointment. Just a good doctor with a good attitude is all that matters to me and more than likely my mom would agree with me.
If my doctor looked like that I wouldn't want to go there ever again. If my doctor looked like that I would also be surprised that she actually got a degree in being a doctor. I wouldn't say anything I would think things like why and how is she a doctor. I also learned in my life not to judge people but in this case I think if you are a doctor you would probably want to dress nicely and not have lip rings or anything like that. She also might be really nice but the way she looks is also something that some people care about on how the act or dress or anything like that.
Shelby I completely agree. If you're a doctor you should dress nicely.
Nice work, I think that is a reasonable response. I said that I would not care because they would not be a doctor if they didn't have a degree. I think that if they want to dress like that then no one should stop them.
That really rued.It like me saying saying someone cry in the hall is pathetic. but I don't judge
If my doctor looked like that I would not trust them. I would not trust them because they would seem gross to me. I would treat them like any other doctor because that's good manners. They would probably end up being the best doctor ever. We would probably be best friends and we would go hang out all the time. We would go get ice cream and then we'd go get some fried pickles. They would invite me to their house and we would play board games like Chess and Sorry.
After we were done playing board games I would go home and go to bed.
If my doctor looked like this then. I would tell my mom. then i would see if she could get me a different doctor. But if the next doctor was the same i would do the same and talk to my mom. Then i would give a complaint to the office. then i tell the doctors that you should always look your best when seeing a patient.
If I walked into my doctors appointment and saw he/she wearing lots of piercings I would be a little freaked out but I wouldn't judge right away. You wouldn't really expect a doctor look like that but I would be very interested on what they would be like. I would think having all of the piercing would be he/she bieng who they are or trying to make a statement to the world.
I would feel the same way. When I fist saw them I would be a little freaked out, but I wouldn't judge. You wouldn't think someone in that profession would have those types of piercings. But they could have done it a while ago and just recently became a doctor. Either way, if you get to know them they might just be the best doctor ever.
If my doctor looked like this I would probably first off ask my mom if she/he looked like someone who she would feel okay being my doctor. If she was fine with it we would more than likely go on with the appointment and we would make sure she is an okay doctor. If my mom wasn't okay with it we would more than likely cancel the appointment. After that my mom would probably go home and call the the clinic and see if we could get another doctor. We would probably be able to get a different doctor and it would be okay, but if there was no other doctors available we would probably just let the doctor do the appointment.
Ava I would have to agree with you on that one. That is probably what I would do.
I would be disgusted at first then I would get used to it. Otherwise I wouldn't care. I would treat him/her like a normal person. If he/she were to ask me a personal question I would be wigged out. I would probably look at my parents while they're doing the checkup. Also I would be making weird faces at my parents and be scared. I would be shy at the beginning to. After the checkup or whatever I would say stuff like that was horrible.
You are a very interesting blogger. I think you should give the doctor a chance. They could end up being the most awesome doctor ever and gives you candy every time you come.
That is so true. I would still treat him/her like a normal person, but still. I would still think that it is weird and gross.
I agree with you Kelsey about being disgusted at first but wouldn't care otherwise. I also agree, I would look at my parents and make faces for help in the conversation. But I disagree with you when you said you would be wigged out if they asked you a personnel question because he/she is your doctor.
If my doctor looked like that my first reaction would think it was kind of disgusting. Millions of thoughts would probably be going through my mind. Like this person does not look like a professional. I wonder if they got them when they were younger and made a bad choice? They might have just a few years ago decided to be a doctor and they had them done already? Maybe they have a completely different life outside of the doctors office. But maybe they made some bad choices and they have completely turned there life around. Maybe this is the most kind and thoughtful person out there. You never know. But just looking at this picture you really don't know. You shouldn't judge a book by its cover. This might be an astounding doctor. And they might not be. All you know is that there could be a whole different person under those piercings.
Your right I couldn't say it better. And you shouldn't judge someone on how they look, its just rude.
That would be scary. I wold be quiet the whole time. I would sit on the bed. Also probably just stare at her. My mom would talk to her. Also I have heard, ¨Don´t judge a book by it´s cover.¨ So I would be kind still and do that. But otherwise I would be stuck in there for maybe 30-1 hour
If a doctor came in with pierces all over her face i'd most likely ask for another doctor. If I couldn't get another i'd probably just be okay with her.I wouldn't really care that much about it.I wouldn't be weird about but i'd probably be a little creep ed out.It would be hard to not stare.Bit i'd try not to.I would try to be nice and understanding.
I think that it would be no big issue. You should not judge a book by it's cover. She could be a great doctor. She could be really nice and give you candy and stuff. Some people look crazy and are very nice people. Some people look normal and are very mean. She could be crazy but you just don't know. I might like her, I might not. You should never judge a book by it's cover.
I think that you are 100% right Marley. You shouldn't judge a book by it's cover. I am 100% with you on this.
how I would react if my doctor looked looked like that is don't judge a book by it's cover because. She could be a very nice doctor, even if she doesn't look like it.plus, she's smiling! Anyway, some people say they would want a different doctor. but other people(like me) wouldn't care .
Why wouldn't you care if your doctor looked like that it was a picture
I would not judge her because she is just like any other doctor but with piercings. I would say when did you get those piercings and how many do you have. Then I would ask her does it hurt to get them. But after me asking all those things i would be like so are you going to get my cast off ?
I agree;I think that you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover. She could, be nice, or kind, even though they may not look like it. And like you said, you would ask her some questions, than ask them.
well I think I`d be a bit freaked out but I guess I`d say hi and let them do there job But the entire time I`d be on edge I don`t discriminate I guess that`s the way I`d react
If my doctor looked like that I would not judge her. I wouldn't judge her because it was something she wanted them so I wouldn't mind. I wouldn't think she was weird just because she chose to have piercings. I would ask her when how old she was when she got them. Because if someone looks like that it doesn't mean they are different they chose to do that.
"Umm?" That is what I would say if I saw my doctor look like this. But you should never judge a book by its cover. So I would get to know them better, and maybe invite them to lunch to get to know them better. On the other hand if they were a bad doctor then I'll go to another place. So ya that's me what about you? Are you the same way or not.
I would be shocked. I probably wouldn't let his/her looks get in the way of her doctoring me. Others might think she looks weird, but if she thinks she looks good well then she likes her looks. Plus why are people judging her she is a person just like us. We shouldn't be telling people what they should wear. Anyway I just wouldn't let the looks of the doctor get in the way, she could be an amazing doctor.
I agree I wouldn´t let piercings come in the way of someone being my doctor.
I would´nt think much about it. Lots of people have piercings. Everybody has a different opinion on piercings but I don´t really mind them. What if she was a great doctor and you didn´t want her because of her piercings. She could be super nice and smart. Don´t judge a book by its cover.
Nice opinion because who has the time for judging people. I don't get why people would even look at her differently then they do when they look at people with no piercings. If someone when up to her and said something mean I would be surprised why he/she said that I mean we are all people here
How I would react if my doctor had that kind of style is, I wouldn't really care. I think it is the personality that maters the most. So if she was nice I wouldn't care but if she was mean I think I would react totally different. I would be nervous and a little bit scared.
I feel the exact same way about this Sadie. If she was mean I would react different. But if she was nice I would be totally fine.
If my doctor looked like that I would not make a big deal about it. I'm not the type of person who judges people by there looks. Now if they were acting weird or was mean then I would be pretty disgusted by her. If she was mean I would stick up for myself but I wouldn't say she was a creep for looking that way. But if she still was mean then I would get mad and mention something about it. Then I would just go to the front office and ask for a new doctor. I would be perfectly fine though if she was nice but still looked like that. I would actually like her to be my doctor if she was nice because some doctors in the past have been rude to me. I have never had anyone that looked that way but I have had some people that are mean so if she was my doctor and she was nice I would like her as a doctor.
I agree that you should not make a big deal out of it. You are right for not judging her by her looks. Also I agree that some normal looking people are not nice and vice versa.
Zach if I was you I would not say that she is a creep for looking like that that because that is just rude. I agree with the part if she was nice. So overall never judge a person by their looks.
If I saw her face I would have to get used to it, but never judge a person by their face. You never know she could be a great doctor. How would you like it if you got judged by your face, because I wouldn't. Think about this would you rather have the slowest doctor ever or the fastest? I know I would rather have the fastest doctor. Maybe she is the fastest doctor and she got you out in 15 minutes. I know I would love that. So never judge someone by their face.
When you typically think of a doctor, you picture a man or woman that is professional in their appearance. However, not everyone fits into the same mold. What if your doctor walked into the exam room with piercings covering their face? How I would react to this is I would be a little freaked out. At first it wouldn't be as bad after you were with her. Though she might have a good personality and be nice. Or she could be opposite and be really mean. She could've made really bad choices when she was a teenager or younger.
I definitely agree with you. That she could have made bad choices when she was younger.Plus that you said she might turn out to be nice and have a good personality.;)
I totally agree with what you were saying Mattie. I think we should not judge other people for what they did in the past and just think of them as any other person.
I think that is a really good thought about your doctor. I also agree with your statement about how they might have made a bad choice when they are younger. I would also think that they either could be nice or mean it depends!!
If my doctor looked like that, I would ask him/her what they like to do. If they don´t like anything, I would immediately get out because they are so freaky. I would go to a different doctor because it is not very healthy to have a lot of piercings all over your body. I would never have even one body piercing. If I was a doctor, I wouldn´t have one body piercing because it is a little weird for a man to have body piercings. Some are like that. Me, myself would´t go to any doctor if they looked really freaky. I don´t like body piercings.
well that`s definitely one way to react. I can`t say I`d react anything like the way you would. I`d be more on edge than usual of course who wouldn`t be with there doctor looking like that.
I would be scared. She wouldn't be my doctor. I would say no no no...!!! Then I would run away from him or her,and never go back into that hospital.
I totally agree with you Gavin. I wouldn't want that doctor either. That is so weird and gross.
I agree with him because the people that you hang out with are basically the same as you because if they are people that bring you down then you are more than likely to end up that way too. But if you hang out with people that are nice and uplifting then you are also more than likely to end up that way too. If you don't want to be friends with people that bring you down all the time then just don't no one is saying who you have to hang out with, except for your self. If you want to be uplifted and be kind then hang out with those kinds of people.
I strongly agree with him and I have the best friends that I could ask for. I think that my friends always encourage me to be my best. I have new adventures with my friends every day. I am so blessed to have them!
Yes! I agree with him. Your friends influence you the most. If your friends don´t make you feel good about yourself then don´t hang out with them.If they can help you soar like an eagle then their just pulling you down. No one needs to be pulled down everyone need to be the best person they can be. So find some friends that will let you be who you are don´t let anyone change you from getting to your goals. If you have those friends good stick with them. If you don´t find someone maybe not two but at least one.
