A time something went wrong was when I left my dog outside when it was 100 degrees outside. I was in kindergarten and my parents had to do something so they told me to let the dog in after 5:00 minutes. So I was watching TV and it was Spongebob Sqaurepants. While I was watching Spongebob I got a snack out and ate that. Then my parents got back and asked me if I let the dog inside and I said "No". I guess it was after an hour so my dog was foaming out of his mouth and it was really bad. Now I know to pay attention if it's 100 degrees and my dog's outside. So now I think about it how good it is that that actually happened.
good story. I love dogs!
I thought it was sad the dog was foaming from the mouth. Hopefully you learned a good lesson. Good story though.
Good story but I feel bad for your dog.
I my gosh that is a brudel. By the way I love dogs.
HAHAHA. GOOD STORY
One day me and some friends though it would be a good day to go Harrison Park. So we all got our bikes and rode to the park. When we got there we messed around for half and hour at the skate park. Then we decided it would be a good idea to ride our bikes down the hill. When we got to the top of the hill we lined up me being second to last. After two of my friends had already rode down the hill it was my turn. Half way down I thought to my self this ways probably a bad idea, after that I blacked out. I had to wait most of the summer for my arm and face to heal. So Learned not to trust hills, that's the positive.
One time when I did something and it went wrong is when I was playing softball. I had run around the bases and made it to third when I rounded third and the catcher decided to throw it to third. I was already so far off the base I had to make a decision to try to go back, or to try to make it home. It was a bad decision to round third so far in the first place. So I decided to try to run home. Once I had started to run, the third basemen threw it home so I turned back around and started to run back to third base. The catcher threw it back to third. So I turned back around and started to go back home. I made it home and scored. Turns out the catcher had over threw third base. That is an example of a time I made a bad decision that turned out good in the end!
I was at a bowling tournament and I couldn't get my ball to react to anything. So I finally got my ball to curve into the head pin instead of it going straight to the ditch also known as the gutter. My game ended up being like a 102. My second game was a little better to where is was like a 111. Then in my third game I could get my ball to what I wanted to do so it was curving into the headpin. So then I ended up getting a 154 that game and I was really excited because I was 10 and it was my highest game I had ever bowled. I got an award for having the best sportsmanship. That's what has happened to me that wasn't so great but turned out to being a great day.
I can't think of a time of when something positive came out of when something went wrong. But when I usually do things wrong it turns out to be funny. Like the first time I made brownies by myself. I mixed all the ingredients put it in a pan and got my mom because I was so excited. She started naming all of the ingredients to make sure I made it right. Eggs, baking powder, sugar, milk, brown sugar, and flour. I said yes to everything and then realized I forgot to put flour into brownies. So we had to take it out of the pan mix flour into the mixture and we finally were able to bake them.
Hahahha. That was funny that you said that when you do things wrong it turns out funny. Good show
I things should fall apart though only if it's for better things. Let's say you broke up with your wife and she moved to go to a guy that didn't cheat or steal her money. If I was a girl I would still do it no matter how much it hurt. Though it may had been his fault it might had her fault. So i'm going too say the same thing. Just think you might be mad right. I'm not married or anything so don't get any ideals from this article. Think why why did he/she break up with me was it a good reason or not. Yeah I might have done some bad things in the past though the past is the past and what if the person changed the a spouse just doesn't know it yet.
When I went to Disney World in the second grade I got lost because I was staring at a crying baby. I didn't know my family had left. I thought they went one way when they actually went the other, I ended up bawling in the middle of the sidewalk. A nice couple took me, got me ice cream, and then brought me to one of the gift shops. I got to play the drawing game with Aladin and also got a free princess costume. When after about 30 minutes we went out and started to look for my family. We saw my Uncle James while we were walking, and he gave me a huge hug. I learned that day not to stare at people, even if they are crying (and plus it's rude). I still have the princess costume, to be more specific my Jasmine costume. It reminds me every day that bad things happen if you are staring, but good things could come of it. Now I haven't been lost anywhere since .
First off its Awesome that you went to Disney World!!! It stinks to get lost but in Disney World that would be really scary. It was really nice of the couple took you to go get ice cream and to color that was really nice.
That sounds really scary Emma. I think if I couldn't find my family I would be really scared. I wouldn't Go anywhere and I would hug my uncle when I found him too after that day. I also think its really cool you still have the dress.
A year from this weekend I was showing at the state fair. I show my pigs and cattle on Monday at the same time. So I would have to be running from two different barns showing my animals. I was in the cattle barn showing my steer and they called my class for my pig. I was so upset that I couldn't show him. My brother couldn't show him either because he wasn't allowed to show that year. So, Mattie's brother, Evan, showed him, but the pig was still in my name. So right before I was going in the ring with my steer my brother ran over and said that my barrow won the whole show. I was so happy and so thankful that we had Evan to show him. My whole family had tears of joy. When I showed my steer, it didn't go like it should have, but the day before my heifer won the breeding heifer show, so I guess it was OK. So that night I got to walk my heifer and my pig into the ring for the parade of champions. Even though I didn't get to show my pig, it was still one of the best weekends ever!
Once we were at The Lake of the Ozarks and we were there for a week. At the end of the week our friends left and we still had to clean up. But our friends didn't leave until about noon so we couldn't start cleaning until around noon. Well it got a little late on us and we weren't done cleaning yet. The weather was great and the water looked amazing. So we just decided to stay for the night. We water .skied and swam. It was a lot of fun. I am glad we didn't get done cleaning
I like your thinking Marley. Cleaning really does stink and takes a long time so i bet you and your brothers stalled( Just kidding). I bet that was a really fun experience.
Marley I'm surprised that you had to clean up so late. But I am happy that it worked out also am happy that you got to do all that stuff one more night. I wish I could stay another night at a lake some time.
One day me and my friend were fishing. All my friend did was want to go on her phone.I was really mad.So I sat alone catching fish on my own.I then realized I did not need her to have fun. I could have fun without her even if she wanted to play on her phone all day. It turned that she saw how much fun I was having so she decided to fish .This was a really positive experience for me.
That happens to me too. But a different experience. I agree with you.
one time that happened to me ,well I had to finish my paper at the library because i did not have a computer. But when I got there it was closed and I saw a class mate outside of the library and she said do you wan to walk around the neighborhood until your mom picks you up. And i said yes because my phone was dead and i could not call my mom. So we were walking around the neighborhood and i saw these kittens and i was like to my friend awww those are so cute. Then she was like isn't that your sister"s friends and i was like yeah let me go say hi. And this is how it happened my sisters friends aunt came out and said she would give me the cat for free and i said yes i will take it.
One time I had got a ninety on a test. I had studied all night. It was the easiest test ever, apparently not, because I got a ninety! The class average was higher than my score! It was terrible and I didn't know what to do, because I knew I couldn't redo it or correct my mistakes. So I went home awfully disappointed in myself and wonder what my parent would say. Of course they would say "It is fine" or "I never got as good of grades as you." They ended up saying exactly what I thought! That didn't help at all. I went to sleep thinking about the test and when I woke up I thought it was a dream, but is wasn't. I went to school talked to the teacher who said "It will be fine so don't worry everyone makes mistakes like that once in a while." So I learned what I did wrong and that was the main thing. Since I learned what I did wrong and I got a perfect one-hundred the next time!
So, this one time I got to choose weather I could go to the mall with my mom, or stay at the house with my dad? If I went to the mall I could eat out with my mom. Also if I stay at the house I could do whatever I want. So I choose to go to the mall. Later I thought that I should have stayed home. So we shopped and went to different stores just like you would. After that mom took us to, Dairy Queen! There I got delicious Cookie Dough Ice Cream. When I got home I told my dad what he missed out on. That´s how the worst day turned into the best day.
That was awesome Zoe. I love Dairy Queen and that's pretty cool that you got to go shopping. Your super lucky though that you got Dairy Queen!
A time something went wrong and turned out to be a positive experience was one of the times my sister and I went to my dads house in Las Vegas when I was about 4 years old, and stayed there for the summer. We were visiting a friends house while our dad was at work and after the day and we were getting ready for our dad to come get us, then out of no where someone rang on the door bell! We all quickly rushed to see who it was, it was our dad! he said he had a surprise for us but would take a little "road trip" into about 2 hours of the trip (very close to the mystery place) I started to not feel good, I remembered all of the sloppy joes I had eaten before we left at my friends house, as I kept thinking of them it kept making want to throw up more and more and finally I had. It was all over the outside of the car and some on the inside cause my sister couldn't roll down the window fast enough. Then we got stopped in a lot of traffic. The whole trip was a mess! But we finally made it to our mystery destination! It was Disney Land!!! That made up for the horrible trip because it was one of the best times ever!
Good job Elsa! I liked your story a lot.
WOW! Sounds like a fun trip! Other than your sister throwing up! But it all turned out fun in the end!
That was a funny story. I don't think that ever happend to me, but my dog from when I was young, he got car sick and threw up. I'm jealous that you went to Disney land though.
I really like your story Elsa. Iv'e never gone to Disney Land and hoping I get to go when i'm older. Just the part about you puking not the best part but the last part made up for the whole thing, good job.
I remembered a time when I was an idiot when I crashed into a electric wire by accident. When I recovered from that collision it was actually funny. So from that forth I never ever did a idiotic thing again. During that time, I learned a valuable lesson watch were you going. I swore I Fred Stickney never ever did a stupid. So I never did it again. But hey at least I learned something that day. I felt good when I didn't do a stupid thing again.
A time that went wrong but turned into a positive is when I stole something by accident. Once when I was younger, say 3-4 years old, my family and I went into a King Soopers. My family told me that I couldn't get a candy bar, but I still wanted it. So I putted it in my pocket. when we got out of the store, I took it out, my parents told me "where did you get that?" I think. story short, I learned a very Important lesson which was doing a bad thingwas a positive, never to steal again.
I agree I once did that. When I was 3 or 4 But I stole tic tacs and got a good scolding. So yea good job.
Something that went wrong but turned out to be a positive experience, is when I had to leave York for 2 weeks. I missed a lot of school. I thought I wouldn't be able to get all my work done. But I worked hard and got all my stuff done. The hardest things I had to do was my NESA testings.
One day I was at my old school. It was the worst day ever! It all started when I got to school and every on was crowded around something. It was a dead frog! Then we all went to class. At recess someone shoved me of the slide. Yeah I sprained my ankle. And everyone was laughing at me. But then I realized it was the last day of school and next year I would be at a whole new school!
One time something went wrong but turned out positive was when I flipped a four wheeler. It was awful at first because I thought I broke my arm and I was in so much pain. I couldn't move my arm for three days then it started feeling a little better but still hurt. I thought I was in trouble but when I was in pain I just got to lay down and watch television, play games and best of all take a nap. After it healed I started riding again but when i took a sharp turn it hurt so for that whole month I didn't ride four-wheeler's. But surprisingly the four wheeler wasn't in bad condition.
That must have hurt. At least it wasn't broken. It didn't turn out that bad.
WOW! Sounds like it hurt a lot. At least the four wheeler was ok.
Well, one time I went to Chicago with my aunt, brother, and my two cousins. Everyone was really crabby on the way there. My brother wouldn't shut up! Whatever someone said he always had a comment. Then one of my cousins she "claims" she was getting carsick but she really wasn't. And there was no radio and I was trying to sleep. That part of the day just really sucked. But it got better! By the time we left we were all really tired and went home. Since everyone was kind of annoyed, we all went our separate ways. But my cousin and I went swimming and that was really fun so that has to be the best part of that day.
I was walking down the hall.As I turn the corner there was Carter Roth .He was bossing people around and walk down the another hall. Turns out he was telling people how to do something. How to walking in the halls.i personally hate being told what to do by pother students so I was lucky. The kid he was chewing out though was comply different. He was mad all day and got a bad grade on the test.
I meant little girl. She had this infection in her belly. I remember that she would cry during the night. Soon they took her home. Then a few days later the news was on. This girl fell 10 m inside of a tree head first. But, when they took out the said she was alive. When they took her to the doctor. He said that she has not signs of injury. Also, her infection went away. And that is what I call a MIRACLE. =-)
Two years ago my parents told me I could do sports. So we went to the stands and I saw all my friends. There was so many choices! So I asked my mom if I could do volleyball. She said she would think about it and the next day she would let me know tomorrow. Turns out it was too much and maybe I can do it in middle school. It all worked out because now that I am in middle school I am doing volleyball. Now I know to wait and figure it out.
Good job Kylee! That is a very true story because you told me. Iḿ not in volleyball but I bet youŕe very good at it!
My Mom and Dad got divorced when I was like 5 or 6. I moved to York when I was 11 and this is my second year here. We moved here because my Dad didn't want his girlfriend to quit her business here in York, so we moved here in May of 2014. It was nice because I wanted to move away from Columbus because of all the shootings that happen there. I didn't want to because that is where my Mom lives. My brother didn't want to though. He is a momma´s boy. (That is what my Mom says to him.) So we moved here and I don´t get to see my Mom much because it is too long of a drive from Columbus to York. Then on Sunday she has to drive us from Columbus back to York. I didn't get to see my Mom once over the summer. I didn't care because I was doing what I wanted to do which was detasseling. That is how my life was bad but turned into a good life.
Hey Xavier that is a real touching story but a really good one. Though I want to start apologizing sorry you had such a bad life i'm glad you moved and are happy though so I just wanted to tell you that i'm glad for you and sad. Have a good rest of your life.
Well everything in my life that has gone wrong has been very bad and had no positive influence at all. I also don`t like talking about my life ether. So this is going to be completely made up not true in the slightest. You know what I can`t think of anything. So yea I don`t know what to do.
Heaven was supposed to leave for Pennsylvania to go see her mom. She was exited but I wasn't because who was I supposed to hang out with that summer. I went on my snapchat story and had saw that Heaven posted something. I look at her story and she said she had missed her plane. For a minute I thought the texted her right away. I texted her and asked Heaven how long is she staying in York till your next flight. 7 days till her next flight, so that meant we could have another sleepover before she left.
I like your'e story how it ened up a very good ending.
I love this story about me thanks.I remember did we have a sleepover that day? I think we did, but anyway I remember you sleeping over.
One day this boy named Kobe Bryant wanted an iPhone for Christmas. He begged and begged until it was Christmas morning. It was Christmas morning and sprinted downstairs and saw a present that was shaped like an iPhone. He opened it and it was just pieces of paper. So he balled and balled until his parents came down. His parents got a good laugh. Then the boy yelled at his parents. So they gave him what was an iPhone in their pocket. So he stopped crying and started playing on it.
Those are the greatest parent ever.My and them need to meet up and talk about how to ruin a kids life.
Ha Ha Ha. Very funny.
Every year our 4-H club puts on a progress show with goats, pigs, and sheep. It was about a week before the progress show and I hadn't even worked with my animals yet and I had too show that next weekend. I was like freaking out! So I started working with my pigs and goats really really hard but it's really hard to train your animals in just a week so I knew they wouldn't be very good and wouldn't win. So it's finally show day and the goat show was first so I took my goat into the ring and had to brace it and the Jude picked mine I was so happy it won and I barley even worked with it. I showed my other goats to and they also did so good I was so happy! Then came the pig show and I was also really scared so i went in and the judge judged them and he picked mine I was so happy! It ended up to be way better than I ever imagined.
Umm, something that went wrong in my life was that I got trampled by many momma cows. So it all started when calving season started that's when I got ran at. Dad was kind enough to let me go inside. The next day dad told me how sort cattle and defend myself. So then that night when i was turning out the show calves, a breeding heifer ran at me. So dad then again saved me. He took a shove, and when he came back it was broken in two. So i was never allowed to go in the barn until that calf was out first. And that is what has happen to me, and ok I was three at the time this happen.
Nice job Ansley. That sounds bad. Hope he got better.
One time my mom and i were in the car and she got mad at me and took my phone. I was so mad at her for that and i could have just took it right from her hand, but I didn't cause I know that it would have made it worse. So when we got home I went right to my dad and he said that she shouldn't have done that. So he was on my side and we made a plan. So that afternoon me and my dad were in the car and we made a bet. He said to prove to my mom I have to just make her feel bad about taking it. So my dad went to the office while I was tat the park and I told dad that but he told me he wouldn't tell mom where I was to try to trick her. So he walked in and my mom was freaking out cause i didnt answer her call and she thought I was lost and I didn't have a phone. So later she found out but gave me my phone back.
I was in school and i had a real bad day. i got a 42 on my behavior sheet. and i realized that i was the worst day yet! So when i got home i told my mama about the score. and she felt disapointed. and she helped me have a better day tomarrow.
In the morning she gave me a big hug, and told me: You will have a great day today. And i had one
