I was given a compliment on how well I had played in a football game. It made feel very good. It was a very nice thing and made me feel because I didn't think I played very well. I was already mad because we lost. That really helped me cope with the loss. There have been lots of times other than that but I just can't remember them. That was one choice of words that really helped me that day. It made me try to do the same for others.
One time I was having a bad day.When I got to school I was still pretty down.Then one of my friends saw me.So she came up to me and told me something.Sometimes you need a bad day to appreciate the good days.It changed my attitude on the days I feel sad. I'm really glad she came up to me that day. It really affected me
One thing that discourages me was when people laugh at me. I'm not sure what they laugh at but it didn't feel good. How would like it if I just started laughing at you for no reason? Hold on to that thought and just think about it. Have you ever done that to someone? People around the world get the same thing or similar things done to them. Always think before your actions, could I hurt someone or will they be okay if I say it to them. Follow this rule and that pain will eventually be gone.

One day I was five years old my dad walked in and I had gotten a piece of my birthday cake. He told I was worthless and no good and god should have never invinted me. Come I was five and I love cake what is the big deal. Oh you ate your own cake you piece of crap. I won't tell you the whole story but my butt hurt for about three weeks. This was all over a piece o cake that I ate. Just three months later i was with my mom and three months after that I went into foster care for six months and my mom finally got me and adopted me. I still get to see my family every once in a while.

At my Great Grandpa's funeral my dad had to say a speech. It was the most beautiful set of words I have ever heard him say. When he was done everyone in the room was crying and he inspired me. I decided that I wanted to write beautiful things exactly like that someday. I decided I wanted to be a writer or an English teacher someday.

I was reading a book and this little boy had cancer and everyone kept making fun of him. Then he found out who was making fun of him because he was getting notes for him but didn't know who it was. A little boy that used to be his friend was the one making fun of him. He found out because he watch his old friend put the note in his locker. One day someone in their grade found out who was saying those things. He finally got the nerve to go say something to him and he said if you are going to make fun of anyone it's not going to him. He also said that he didn't care if he picked on him but not someone that has cancer its one thing to pick on someone but its another to pick on someone with a sickness.
That is so true, no one should ever do that. It is only rude and disrespectful and whichever character said that will pay for what he said. I haven't read the book but still I hope he gets what he deserves.
One thing that I experienced that I had that included good word choice is when I was reading the first Harry Potter book. As I read it I could really imagine what it looks like. I have never seen the Harry Potter movie but could still image what it looked like. As I read it I could just see the huge Hogwarts castle. I could see the characters around a huge table with gold silver wear. It made me happy because I could understand the book better. With such a good idea of what was really happening in the book I really knew what was going on. Since the author used such good word choice, it made the book much more enjoyable!
One time I read an article about a kid and his school a few years ago. This kid had no friends and was always teased by his classmates, and sometimes even adults. The kid felt like he had nothing. He was so down about himself from others putting him down that he was going to go home from school and commit suicide. When the last bell rang, and it was time for everyone to go home, he was the first one out the door he was basically running, when he went out the door he knocked into a girl and he dropped all of his stuff. She quickly bent down to help him and complemented him on his shirt and they actually had a nice conversation and had alot in common. When he got home didn't kill himself because of that one person. One person may not seem like alot but it is. Be the person to change others for the better, and be there person to help.
One day last year my report card came home. I was terrified about what it would say. My parents showed no expression on their faces. Then they smiled and said it you did exquisitely. I saw the grades and I was disappointed with myself. In the moment my parents saw the disappointment on my face and told me it would be fine and because they encouraged me it turned out to be just fine. I worked harder because of that and my grades improved to what I wanted them to be at.
It has a positive outcome. It brightens peoples day. For example someone said something like what she said. That makes a impact in some else life. I am think I have heard that saying other than in that video. It made a big difference in that persons life. A impact that makes the other person feel awesome. But I agree that it has a positive outcome.
A time when words and the way that I use them can have a powerful impact is when... I couldn't really think of any thing.
One way words impacted me was when I was reading this book , and it was about how these kids and how they went to another world . It was very easy to imagine what was going on because the author used words like "The sun was a glowing ray of sunshine and also "Queen red riding hood kingdom was filled with thousands of people". Those things helped me get the picture more in the book.
One time at our district softball tournament we lost our fist game and were put into the losers bracket. So if we wanted to win we would have to work our way back up the bracket. That mean we had to play seven games in a row to be in the championship. And believe it or not we won one after another after another until we won that seventh game. So we made it to the championship game. I was up to bat and I was feeling great about it. The pitch came in and I hit it. I hit it hard and far. All the way to the fence. So I rounded first, second, and third and headed for home. It was a home run. When I got back to the dugout all my coach had to say to me way I was early on the pitch. It made me feel like it wasn't a good hit and that I didn't deserve it. But my teammates made me feel better. And the next time I went up to bat I hit another home run. So I knew they were good hits and I deserved them.
One time when my grandpa was at my baseball game he told me that that was the best he has ever seen me pitch. That moved me in my mind in a good way.

I have never been influenced by peoples words by that much. Their words just don`t break the shell of ice around my heart. It`s unfortunate because I could probable do so much more if they did.

A lot of people tell me that I'm smart. That encourages me to try even harder. It doesn't matter who tells me I just like hearing words like that. Hearing that people think I'm smart is always a good feeling. But it can be pressure because if I get it wrong they probably wont have faith in me anymore. But when I'm right and people acknowledge that, that makes me feel good. I'm sure people can relate that SOMETHING someone says encourages them or makes them feel good. All I know is that some people have my back.

I Was standing there with this kid.But I can't remember his name.We were standing there having a conversation.It was about how teachers should stop randomly walking up and touching you on the shoulder.We had just got into the conversation this kid walks up and says he is retarted and will never amount to nothing.So the kid started balling .So I walked away and in three or so months his dad got a new job and he moved.

I was saying some things about other people one time. (They were good things.) So anyways I was saying some stuff. He walked by and I didn't notice but when he walked by my friend said that he was sad and when he passed he was smiling. He was not feeling gloomy anymore because of what we were talking about. I felt sorry for him because he did not have very many friends. So I wanted to be his friend and we became best friends. I probably will not become enemies with him for a long period of time. He is the bestest friend I could ever have. We have been friends ever since I was saying that in 5th grade when I moved here to York. He is always taking my back and saying nice stuff to me. I do not have very many friends myself, but that is no the point. The point is that sometimes you should say good things about people. Like my Dad always says, ¨If you do not have something nice to say, then do not say it at all.¨
I was coming home from the airplane that I missed I was so sad and my dad kept joking around. He said ¨ Hey at least I get a dishwasher for the next week.¨ ¨ Hey this means you can spend more tie with your friends.¨ That made me laugh and forget about missing my plane. So the car ride back was pretty enjoyable. I did get to spend time wit my friends and that was fun.

Heaven, it's ok. You were probably going to Pennsylvania and I remember no one wanted you to go. Plus you're dad is comical. One time I facetimed him and he was just angry. it was funny.
One day I came form school and I ran into this guy in the street asking for money. I gave him my last 10 bucks. I handed to him and I said," I hope this blessing can help you through your life. Next day I thought how it feels to be a guy sad and need for money. Form that I took my school work more seriously little by little got better so in the future I could get a good job with a good payment. Or maybe one day be an owner of a store or a business.

Ok so one day I had a real bad day. Like a such a crappy day u can't believe. So I went to school feeling all grumpy and mad. People talked to me and told me funny things but noooo I still was mad. So eventually after school someone came up to me and told me the worst joke ever. It was so bad that I laughed at it. For the rest of the day when ever I would feel mad at something I would think of that bad joke, and all the other good ones I had been told.

Ok so some of you know my dad and you know he can get loud. Every time we go to a show or something, I mean just sitting at home he can just snap like that. He may say mean things, and he may be mean to other people, but that's just him. So lets talk about the time when he makes a seane, and is yelling at one of me or my two sisters. OK yes I know there are people but there not goingmto stop him. And his word choice isn't always the best, but like I said thars just him. I won't tell you about a time when he did that beceause you don't need to hear about it. He dosen't allways like to listen to us, like how our day was or something, but I'm used to it. And some say that I'm just like him, yes i am because he taught me to fight, and to be strong.

Something that has inspired me is one of our school assembles when this guy came and talked to us. He really motivated me. He told us how he would get bullied and he didn't like it at all. That everyone should be respectful, kind, nice, not tease people, or don't judge what there wearing and more more things. Then I realized that from now on whenever I see someone getting bullied I will go stick up for them or I will tell a teacher. That's going to be my goal!
Once at my old school I was getting bullied a lot. So I told one of my friends and they went to the principle. The principle didn't do anything so my friend and I walked over to the kid that was bullying me and told them how I felt. After a while the kid finally realized how it felt to be bullied because this other bully was bullying the kid that bullied me. Then the kid changed and did everything that had to do with kindness. Now that kid is one of the nicest kids I know. The kid does everything he can to be nice to people.
This is a really cool story! That kid really learned his lesson. It's cool how you guys are friends and he is nice to you.
One they that was discouraging is when someone laughs at me when I mess something up. It really gets me down because I try my best. I normally don't mind when its just a few of my friends and I mess something up. But when its people that won't stop talking about it get's annoying. I hate it when mess something up and you joke around about for a few seconds but then you stop and they don't. I also had it when people do that to random people on the streets. I had how someone poor or has a disability and they ask for money but they mess up a word and that's all people think about instead of giving him some loose change I wish people would just stop laughing and help out. And finally I would like to say that you have messed up to so why do you laugh at people if they don't laugh when you mess up.

When I played football the opposing team football coach told me that I played good and that made me feel good. It made me want to get better every practice. It also made play as hard as I could every game that season. Kind words could effect someones ones life. It made me want to do the same.

Every year I get a birthday card for my great grandma. She is always encouraging me asking me about school and telling me how proud she is of me. She celebrated her 90th birthday and we went to her party in Broken Bow. She was so happy to see me and introduce me to all her friends. She makes me feel good about who I am and what I can do. I haven't seen her much but she makes me feel so special by what she writes in the cards she sends. I know that she doesn't have that much money so the dollar she includes in my cards is very special. I hope that I can be as encouraging with my words as my great grandma.

She heard they were moving. It was as soon as TOMORROW!!!!!!! She had to pack up he stuff and it was emotional. She asked if she could stay and they said no. When she was crying she heard a noise. It was her cat and he was so sick he had to be put down. When she went to her room it felt odd. She went to her parents and said "JK dis all gochi were not moving haha LOL".
One time I failed was a AR book quiz. It was a really hard book. It had 20 questions on the test. I learned that I should read the book slower. Another thing I learned is that I should have put more time into it. It was hard to accept. Something that happened when I was taking the quiz was my friend was next to me. Maybe I should focus on my test and not my friend.
