In my opinion privacy is dead. Privacy is dead because people have tinted windows and some people will have the curtain barely open. Like in this movie I watched these kids were spying on this old man because they thought his house was alive. Another reason is that people will think someone is suspicious because they smoke. Then if a person were to smoke they'll be all like oh my gosh he is smoking he is probably on crack or cocaine because of all the drug dealers around. Or people will be cool about it. But in my opinion privacy is dead.
I disagree, I think privacy is the exact same as it always has been. It is peoples choice whether they text someone about personal problems, or even post about it. They wouldn´t have said anything if they didn`t want other people to know. I think if you don´t want the entire world knowing about your problems then just don´t tell anyone. Because telling everybody everything is how rumors get started, even if you tell them not to tell anyone they probably will tell someone. Also if you don´t want people to know anything like passwords you shouldn´t tell your friends. Telling secrets can destroy trust, so I just keep to myself about that kind of thing. Nobody will ever know your secrets as long as you don´t tell them.
I disagree because people choose whether they want their personal information online and stuff like that. Another reason is because some people are very personal and don´t want people knowing anything about them. Some people like to give out their personal information because are more social than others. I disagree that privacy is dead because most of the time people have the choice whether their personal information is handed out.
Privacy is not dead. Everyone posts everything on the internet which is fine but exposes you a little bit. At home there is still privacy because, is there not locks still on doors? I'm not really sure what kind of privacy we are talking about, but there is still a lot of privacy in this world including social media privacy, home privacy, school privacy and many other kinds. You can stay private in social media by setting things on your phone. And if you like privacy it is to also good to give other people privacy.
Privacy is dead, because people always post what there doing on the media. People are always wanting to know what you are doing. You can't even get privacy in your own home. If you go anywhere you are going to get talked to. You can't get anywhere without being bothered by people. Everyone knows who you are and what you like because they see on the internet.
I agree everybody post stuff on social media anymore. Nothing is private and everyone can see what they are doing.
I some what agree because, lots of people let the internet see their private information. Some people don' t us social media so their privacy is disclosed. We should be able to share private information to people such as friends and family. Although it should not be to the extent it is at currently.
I agree privacy is dead. I think there is no privacy because of people texting every second because teens; And there is no privacy because the government or maybe the Illuminati
In my opinion I think privacy is dead. For some people who don't have siblings they might think different. But I know my sisters never respect my privacy. Every time I am in my room they never knock before entering, and when I ask them to knock they still never listen to me. My mom a lot of the time doesn't respect my privacy too. I know if they are your family it is kind of different but if people would all just respect each others privacy it would make me a lot happier! Sometimes I don't respect my parents privacy nor my sisters. Sometimes I don't knock before entering her room but I still think everyone needs to start respecting each others privacy!
Privacy is dead now because of social media. With social media everything is where everyone can see it. If you post something on social media anyone and everyone can see it. Even if you think "Oh, I have a private account so only people I want to can see it". No. Guess what? There is a thing call screen shots, I'm sure you've heard of it. It just takes one person to screen shot it and send it to another person.
There are also very advanced hackers too. Trust me I know. One of your friends texts you about you Instagram post, and you have no idea what they are talking about? You just got hacked. The can basically do whatever they want know. They can take personal info like addresses and card information. There are many ways you have no privacy now. And social media is a key factor.
I agree privacy is dead. It is dead, because of social media and the internet as well. People seem to post everything on social media. People post anything from their breakfast to their "cool" fingernail designs then they ask you what, when, where, why, how. So here is an example. You go to school with your peers, then you get home and they are still with you and asking, "What are you doing after school?" or, "What are you eating for dinner?". The questions never seem to stop! They want to know about your life. That is why I personally think privacy is dead, because people follow you and are with you wherever you go even if you don't realize it.
PRIVACY: Privacy is always invaded and people really don't know because it happens so much. Privacy should be personal that's why they call it privacy in the first place. It really does matter privacy all people need it that is just the way life is. NON PRIVACY: Non privacy means that you don't have any at all. A lot of people need privacy though some don't. Say you don't do things your supposed to.
I disagree because privacy is long living. When you don't want to say or show something, you keep it private. no one and I mean no one can read your mind. I have many secrets that I don't share with anyone. So you know privacy can't be destroyed. I still use privacy. You use privacy too. so save your secrets. privacy is forever alive.
No i don't agree. Privacy is totally not being erased. because people can lock doors and close curtains. if that douse not work just close the door. for you to help knock on a door before coming in. Privacy will not fade away if your smart. Don't just walk in knock first. And that is my answer. thank you
I agree that privacy is dead. Or at least most of it. With all the new social media apps, IPhones, and other smart phones, privacy has just been decreasing. Between hackers and friends and family snooping on your phone you really just have no control of it. But that's also why you shouldn't have anything to hide on your phone anyways. But still some conversations are just meant for you and no one else. Privacy is just getting harder and harder to keep around the world.
I agree, everyone wants to know everything. For example they might put on the internet something about you. Telling someone something they did not want told. It is like a loop. The person you told tells another person, and you how it goes. It just comes back to you, and you probably feel anger. If it´s private that you only wanted to tell that person, I would only tell it to my friends. Most likely they did that for a reason.
No I do not think privacy is dead. There is some privacy in the world still. Some people do not get privacy though. Most people I think do not care for privacy. Also people might have a website with everything about them.Other people though like to have privacy like journals or diary that they keep to themselves. In my opinion I like to have privacy
I do think privacy is dead today, The internet today is very messed up ,it does all sorts of bad things like help start rumours and add more drama to everything else that is going on in the world or just at school. But sometimes you can have some privacy like making your social medias privite and not letting people.
Privacy is dead. You don't have privacy anywhere anymore. You can't go or do anything anymore because people are always getting up in your grill. Which is true. Even when you post something people are just invading your space. Like even when you're just simply minding your own business then your mom decides to walk in whenever she pleases! Like ok, just walk in when I'm doing my thing. SO yea, it's dead.
Well It really depends on how you define privacy. Say you mean internet privacy or public privacy It really does matter. Well internet privacy is not that good. cause of hackers and things like that. Public privacy is okayish But could be better or worse. So it really depends on how you define privacy. That`s the end goodbye
I totally agree. At my house the only doors i'm aloud to close are. The bathroom door. The front door. The back door. And the laundry room door. Those are the only doors i'm aloud to close. For my siblings it is totally different.
I don't really think that privacy is alive. It's like covering your house with no reason so yea. And people will think that you are smoking or doing drugs but yea
you commented on your post
Is privacy dead? I think yes, because my family is always coming in and out of everybody´s rooms without asking permission. I think it is rude but other people might think different. Then online everybody's saying what other people say and posting what had happened throughout their day. To me if its someone that I don´t care about, then I don´t care. I do not care what you did because that is your business and your parents. Some people think that it is funny to go around in someone else's bedroom, but that is weird and rude in every way. I think that it might be nice for them to ask for permission before going into someone else´s room or anything else that they might need to ask for. k
I think privacy is dead because, people don't get as much privacy with all of the social media. People can always post something you tell them. People also sometimes don't want the thing to be posted but the person sometimes posts it anyways. If you tell someone gossip tell someone you trust or else it will most likely be posted on social media. Another reason privacy is dead is because, social media is worldwide and you can post something on there that everybody can see. People can also get into your things if your not careful. People can see all your pictures posts videos and stuff like that, if you don't have a lock on your phone or if you share your password for any social media website. If you write down your password on a slip of paper someone can see it and get into your social media websites, etc.
I think privacy is dead. I think it is because you can find your house and other peoples houses on google earth if you just no there street. You can also get on google and find there Facebook and Twitter accounts by just searcher there names. I don't t think there is any privacy if your on the internet. You can even find peoples phone numbers so you could random calls. It is so impossible to have any privacy on any social media app because people can see your pictures and tweets. Privacy is dead because people can know your location if you take a picture by a landmark because they can search how to get there and they could find you.
Privacy is not dead because them are thing you hid.I'v got my sects that no one knows about.I you got thing you don't want people to find out about. If your a teacher and you drink you don't want your students to find out.I if you rob a bank you don't want the cops to find out. A politician doesn't tell you all there plan .Like trump he has gave a reason to make a giant wall but not his true reason .These are all matter you keep private so if your keeping them quit then privacy is not dead
I don't think there is privacy today because there have been a lot of robbery's. People playing Pokemon Go go on peoples property just to get a stupid pokemon.
An experience that I had from words was outside of school. I was having a tough day with my mom and the next day at school was hard. There was a lot of crying and I was scared. At the time there was a lot of drama with my so say "group". It was after school and we were walking to volleyball practice. I didn't know how much words could hert. My freinds and I got in a fight and I was scared I didn't know what to do so I walked away. When I walked away I knew they were talking about me which made me fell a lot worse. But when I got up to some other people in my grade they said I could walk with them. We may have walked for only a few minites but it felt like the whole world stopped and I could be my self an d feel accepted.
